Rented a studio from Levi for almost a year. He was super understanding and really easy to work with. Their prices are very reasonable especially with todays market. I would definitely rent from him and his company again. If it wasnt for my growing family I definitely would have stayed there longer. I 100% recommend renting from him and Makai Rentals if you are looking for a place to live.

The owner, Levi, has a wealth of knowledge to pass on to new investors. He has a great understanding of the needs of those under his care. He stays up to date on laws/codes surrounding rental properties, which are constantly changing. He and his team have strong work ethic and capacity. He was able to help with all our needs. He wants your investment to succeed as much as you do and he has the talent and resources to do it. Rental properties are a sound and time tested investment. My wife and I are born and raised Hilo residents and have recently acquired our first investment property. I've been a part of several real-estate projects, and thought I had a good grasp on property management but wanted to make sure I avoided any costly mistakes. I reached out to Makai Rentals and they have been an invaluable source of knowledge and experience.

Awesome experience! Only about 20 minutes from Hilo and 25 minutes to the new black sands beach! Very clean. Quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay again! ALOHA!

Makai Rentals is now my go to place to rent or refer to rent for family and friends visiting the island! The space was very well built, and decorated perfectly! The hosts are very helpful and gracious! I would highly recommend, and will continue to recommend to everyone coming to Hawaii!
